Novix IQ came out of finance and operations work, not out of a software incubator. That shows up in what the product cares about: the record, the exception, the person who has to sign for it, and the auditor who will ask about it later.
The company
Who you are contracting with.
Novix IQ is the software and data brand of CB Investment Holdings, LLC, a Texas limited liability company. The assumed name is filed with the Texas Secretary of State, and the entity is the party on every agreement, order and invoice.
The same ownership operates CB Strategic Advisors, which delivers the consulting and advisory work. Two brands, one owner, deliberately not merged. Advice and software are different products, they are bought by different budgets, and keeping them separate keeps the scope of each engagement honest.
We are based in Brownsville, Cameron County, Texas, on the border, and most of our work sits in that corridor.
Where the product came from
A yard, a seal, and a question nobody could answer.
Ask an operations team to prove which trailer left the yard at 3am and which seal was on it, and you will usually get a binder, a spreadsheet, and a guard who remembers. That is fine until the day it is not: an audit, a claim, a customs question, a load that went out wrong.
Our platform started as the answer to that question. Every movement through the gate, every seal, every hold and every override recorded once, at the moment it happened, by the person who did it, in the language they actually speak.
It is in active development with live users. What we learned building it is what we bring to the rest of the work.

We will tell you not to buy it
If an off-the-shelf product solves your problem, or the problem is a process rather than a system, that is what you will hear. A build nobody needed is bad for both of us.
The scope is in writing
What is included, what is not, and what a change costs. No number is given verbally and then revised on an invoice.
Your data stays yours
Exportable, deletable, isolated per customer, and covered by a published addendum that names every subprocessor we use.
It gets maintained
Software rots. Dependencies age, browsers change, rules change. Ongoing support is offered as a real arrangement, not as a favor when something breaks.
